Guillaume Reymond - Not So Noisy Series

스위스의 아티스트 길리암 레이몬드의 Not So Noisy시리즈 팝컬쳐적인 아이템들을 단체퍼포먼스를 통한
스탑모션 픽쳐로 비디오화 시킨 작품들인데 상당히 잼있다. 그래픽 아트라고 주장하고 있지만 그 이상을 바라볼 수도 있는
작품 시리즈로 완성되가고 있는듯.

GAZWRX: The Films of Jeff Keen

요즘 빠져있는 60년대 Experimental Film maker Jeff Keen 얼마전에 그의 필름모음집 GAZWRX가 재발매되었다.
매쉬업된 필름스틸과 노이즈의 적절한 조화가 과 하지 않게 서로의 부족한점을 채워주고 있다.
필름이랑 노이즈를 굉장히 매력적인 혼합쥬스로 끌어올렸달까. 디비디를 곧 주문해야겠다.

학교다닐때 자주 봤던 PBS Art:21의 새로운 시즌이 시작된다 Barry McGee, Bruce Nauman, Richard Serra 등등 내가 좋아하는 아티스트도 나오고 contemporary art 에서 활발히 활동중인 다방면의 아티스트들과 그들의 작업을 Theme에 맞게 소개해주는 시즌 다큐멘터리인데 이번 시즌 파이브에선 우리학교에도 왔었던 William Kentridge 도 나오는거 같고 예고편에 Paul McCarthy가 나오는걸로 봐선 post modern계열 아방가르드 행위예술 작가들도 꽤 소개될거 같다.
가을부터 시작한다니 긴장타고 있어야지
